Newborn Hospital Photos - Fresh 48 Session
My nephew was born a few weeks ago and I was lucky to be able to take newborn hospital photos of him, otherwise known as “Fresh 48” pictures. Using a documentary approach, I capture all the details of his first few days in the hospital. From the exterior of the building, to everything I see along the way to his room. Details of Mom and Dad with him, as well as first looks with siblings and other close family.
Most families are lucky enough to only spend a few days in the hospital after baby is born. Although it might only be one or two days, there is something special about that room. Bonding with baby, working to set a routine and just loving each other. With these photos, I want parents to be able to look back and remember how it felt those first days. Before trying to manage home life with a new baby. While they are only focused on each other, and no outside distractions.
